距离是人间

Life is a ruler,

with which the distance between heaven and the nether region we measure.

人生不长

我的忧伤却这么长

It is fleeting.

while my melancholia is unceasing.

看风吹长短

白云悠悠

念心际无舟

Waxing and waning spring wind

and sailing white clouds,

reflections of my drifting mind.

Two. Yearning

当天空辽阔得我如蚁般渺小时

我才看到

思念如汹涌的云

纵横苍穹

Infinite sky diminishes me to a picayune.

Only then, it dawns on me,

across the universe, clouds are roiling

just like my yearning.

Three. Dusk

你在天的尽头沉默

你在天的尽头热烈

黄昏用宁静

燃烧火一般的热烈

Beyond the horizon, your reticence;
